Young students learning in a classroom

Learning in two languages

Students learn in an all-day English-immersive environment. English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Performing Arts, Music, Art, and Health and Life Education are taught in English.

Our Chinese department teaches Chinese, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, so students keep pace with national standards.

IB Primary Years Programme

Inquiry from Kindergarten to Grade 5

LUYA Academy is a candidate school for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), a framework for learners aged 3–12. The PYP is inquiry-based and transdisciplinary: children explore meaningful ideas that cross subject boundaries while building knowledge and skills.

Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
