From Taiwan to the World Stage

Great news from LUYA Academy! Grade 6 student Kyle Chang won first place at the 14th HIPPO International English Olympiad World Finals, held in Spoleto, Italy, in 2026.

The HIPPO International English Olympiad is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It values the real-world use of English, not rote memorization.

From the Taiwan preliminary round and the Asia-Pacific regional final to the World Finals, Kyle rose to every challenge and stood out on the international stage with his English skills and confident expression. This international recognition is a testament to the English proficiency and cross-cultural communication skills he has built over time.
