LUYA Academy Grade 6 student Kyle Chang (張楷逸) won first place at the 14th HIPPO International English Olympiad World Finals, held in Spoleto, Italy, in 2026.
The HIPPO International English Olympiad is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and values the real-world use of English rather than rote memorization. Kyle advanced from the Taiwan preliminary round and the Asia-Pacific regional final to the World Finals, where he stood out with his English skills and confident expression.
Congratulations to Kyle, and thank you to his family and teachers for supporting his journey.
