IB 在路亞：我們的候選學校歷程
路亞實驗教育機構（LUYA Academy）為 IB 小學課程（PYP）與中學課程（MYP）的候選學校（Candidate School），正在申請授權成為 IB 世界學校（IB World School）。候選資格並不保證將獲得授權。
從好奇心開始的學習
路亞的使命是提供具挑戰性且豐富的學習環境，重視同理心與獨立性，培育全方位發展、擁有無限未來的國際領袖。國際文憑（IB）的教育架構與這些期望高度契合。
IB 課程是一套學習架構，而不是固定的教科書。學校在架構與在地規範之下自行設計教學單元。
IB 教育的四項特色
探究學習
學生提出問題、調查並驗證想法；老師設計學習，讓好奇心帶來更深入的理解。
概念理解
學生將知識與「變化」「系統」「觀點」等大概念連結，能把所學運用在新的情境。
國際情懷
學生認識自身與他人的文化和語言，思考在地與全球議題之間的關聯。

候選資格的意義
候選期間，學校在 IB 的指導下發展與檢視課程、教學、評量與相關政策。PYP 與 MYP 的授權程序皆包含至少一學年的試行實施。
授權
授權的意義
授權是 IB 正式確認學校已符合開設特定課程要求的決定，程序包含訪視評鑑。路亞目前處於候選階段。

Primary Years Programme
LUYA Academy is a Candidate School* for the Primary Years Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that LUYA Academy believes is important for our students.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted. For further information about the IB and its programmes, visit www.ibo.org
Middle Years Programme
