LUYA Academy is proudly highlighting the Flag of Taiwan on the global stage! Emily Pin-Hsin Lim achieved third place at the 2024 HIPPO World Finals in Italy, and Elizabeth Yan-Xi Teng claimed first prize at the Regional Finals in Hong Kong. A huge congratulations to these exceptional LUYA students for representing Taiwan with distinction!

Congratulations to our LUYA Students!

We are thrilled to announce that our student, Elizabeth Teng – representing Taiwan – has won first prize in the regional finals of the HIPPO International English Language Olympiad held in Hong Kong!
HIPPO attracts over 80,000 contestants from more than 60 countries, so we are honored to share that three students from our school were selected as national finalists. Their exceptional performance has brought immense honor to LUYA, showcasing the incredible talent we nurture. We hope they continue to shine on the world stage.
Next round for Elizabeth will be in Italy this September to compete in the world finals, joined by another outstanding student, Emily from LUYA, who qualified directly for the World Finals through the National Finals round. We couldn’t be prouder of their achievements and wish them the best of luck!
