LUYA International High School has officially received authorization from the International Baccalaureate (IB) to offer the Middle Years Programme (MYP), following its earlier authorization for the Diploma Programme (DP).
According to the school’s announcement, this milestone makes LUYA International High School the first IB MYP-authorized school in Taoyuan.
The MYP emphasizes inquiry-based learning, conceptual understanding, interdisciplinary connections, and real-world applications of knowledge. Through research, collaboration, reflection, and meaningful action, students develop critical thinking, communication, and independent learning skills.
